Ways to Help Support Our School:
How can I help our school?
That is a question that is often asked by people who have a heart for Christian education at St. Martin’s. Besides the many volunteering opportunities throughout the year, you can help our students by supporting any of these ongoing projects:
This is a group of individuals that come together every Monday morning of the school year and pray for our staff, our children and their families. They have been terrific prayer warriors for our school and we are looking forward to their continual spiritual strength they give our school staff, students and their families!
RESTORED BLESSINGS THRIFT STORE
Tuition Assistance Program:
Restored Blessings is a sister ministry of St. Martin’s Lutheran Church. They offer a tuition assistance program for ALL families, friends or anyone within the Winona community. Families of Hope Lutheran and St. Martin’s Lutheran School students can apply for tuition grants through Restored Blessings. You can also stop in for some great buys. Restored Blessing has something for everyone. It is a great way to get things you need all while supporting your Lutheran schools.
Restored Blessing needs your help. Please try to schedule some time to share in the blessing they have been to St. Martin’s Lutheran School and Hope Lutheran High School.
Restored Blessing is now newly located at the Winona Mall.

We are collecting specially marked bottle caps and milk bag strips from dairy products purchased at Kwik Trip stores. Each cap and strip can be redeemed for cash by the school.
Box Tops for Education
General Mills cereal boxes all have a 10 cent coupon on them which can be turned in at school for us to redeem during the year.
Adopt – A – Child
Any time during the year you can contribute to this fund which helps provide tuition assistance to families who can’t afford the cost of sending their child to our school on the resources available to them. There is never enough in this fund to meet the needs of the families who apply.
Funds for Fedora
“Funds for Fedora’s” is a program at Godfather’s Pizza to earn money for our school. Simply cut the fedora off the side of the pizza box and take it to your school’s collection box. Fedora’s can be found on medium, large and jumbo Godfather’s pizza boxes. We 25 cents for each fedora returned. Enjoy pizza and earn money for our school at the same time!
SCRIP is a fun and easy way to help support St. Martin’s Lutheran Church and School. As you order gift cards to pay for your groceries, clothing, gas or to give away as a gift, the church and school will receive anywhere from 2% to 14 % back. SCRIP is a gift certificate that can be used like cash. Certificates are available for many national chains as well as local stores. Click on the links below for a complete listing of SCRIP options. When you buy a certificate from the SCRIP program, you pay the full face value of the card.
You may apply the stated percent that you receive from that gift card in a variety of ways:
- Apply it DIRECTLY towards your child’s St. Martin’s School tuition.
- Apply it DIRECTLY towards the tuition balance, for a child of your choice, who is currently attending St. Martin’s School.
- Apply it to our Adopt-a-Child Program that awards children that financially qualify at St. Martin’s School with tuition assistance.
- Apply it to the General Fund of St. Martin’s Lutheran Church.
