Chaldean Old Testament Status: The Chaldean translator has been working hard in several areas. 1 Kings has recently been completed and is now well into 2 Kings. He has also been revising the translation of the book of Genesis. The first draft was done several years ago and it is now being revised to get it ready for printing. The hope is to print this book in a booklet by itself so that Chaldeans can begin to use it.
Chaldean New Testament Status: The Chaldean translator has been proofreading the edition of the Chaldean New Testament that will be printed using the Syriac script (letters). We have met with several representatives of the Chaldean Church in the Detroit area to get them involved in proofreading it.
Kono New Testament Status: Approval was given in August to print the Kono New Testament. We are hoping that means that it is now at the printer being printed. Please pray that the process will go smoothly with no problems.
